Prenatal Massage

Not only does the expectant mom have to take care of herself, but also the life growing inside of her. Prenatal massage works to ease the pain, alleviate swelling and most importantly relax and provide a sense of relief for the mom-to-be.  Pregnancy can cause major hormonal changes to the body. Prenatal massage helps to stabilize these changes by allowing the nervous system to release endorphins into the body; allowing the mother to be relaxed. In addition it can reduce any depression or anxiety that is sometimes common with pregnancy.  By using long, relaxing and soothing strokes in combination with warm stones and aromatherapy; this customized massage will increase the body’s circulation, reduce mental and physical fatigue and leave the mom-to-be in a state of peace and bliss. We will spend a nice amount of time to deliver an over the top foot massage. Using warm stones on the feet and a relaxing foot cream; you can rest assured her feet will be left the feeling life she’s walking on clouds. We incorporate a body pillow so if the mom is far enough along and cannot lay on her stomach, we will position her on her side with the pillow in front of her and between her legs with another pillow under her head. Her comfort being our main priority!
